Twin Bridges bulletin board

February 6th, 2009 by sheridan

FYI - The Twin Bridges group is creating a bulletin board as

Bulletin Board

ú          The top of the bulletin board is being painted by the TBHS art department.  The cork board is in.  3D signs can create 6 signs for the topic areas (Madison County Commissioners, Twin Bridges City Council, etc.) for $5 each.  This is a reasonable price and the signs will very durable.  The total cost of materials for the project will be under $125.

ú          A sample of the postcard announcing the bulletin board was presented.  The group discussed what should be presented in the extra space at the bottom of the card.  All agreed that the space be used to urge the community to check out the Community Calendar on the Chamber website and submit calendar entries.

ú          The postcard art and accompanying text announcing the bulletin board will be posted on the home page of the Chamber website.

ú          The bulletin board should be installed and ready for materials within two weeks.

Miscellaneous

ú          One of the group members will suggest to the Library that the computers use the Chamber website as a home page.

ú          The list of organizations and phone numbers for the magnets will be posted on the Chamber website under the menu item “Essential Information”.

Resource List

ú          A letter drafted by Dayna Leavens (revised version attached) was presented to the group for editing.  The letter will accompany the first edition of the Resource List and requests the Twin Bridges community to submit additional information.  Minor changes were made to the original letter.

ú          Copies of the list were distributed with additional entries that need information.  These entries need to be researched.  The group split up this task and will submit their results for inclusion in the next week.

ú          The group agreed to incorporate the information from the list of important numbers that will be used on the magnets.  It was also agreed that the list should be organized by categories rather than alphabetically.  A revised version of the list with the new entries and organized by category prior to the next meeting.  Our goal is to have the list ready for final approval at the next meeting.

The next meeting is scheduled for February 25th at 6pm at the Prudential Real Estate office.
